Aman Thakker is a Research Associate at the Wadhwani Chair in U.S.-India Policy Studies at Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington D.C., where he focuses on India's state and national level economic reforms, and security dynamics in the Indo-Pacific. He is also a contributor to The Diplomat, providing analysis on domestic politics, law, regulatory policy, and economics in India. He previously worked as an Analyst at Protagonist (formerly Monitor 360). He received his B.A. in International Affairs from the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University, and spent one year studying at the London School of Economics.
