Chandra Rekha

Dr. Chandra Rekha is currently working as Research Fellow at Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA), New Delhi. She has authored a book titled “India- Russia Post Cold War Relations: An Epoch of New Cooperation’ co-published by Routledge Publication and Knowledge World Publication. She received her Doctorate from Centre for Russian and Central Asian Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University in 2018. Her PhD thesis was on the “Revival of Russia’s Defense Industrial Complex, 2000-2014”. She had earlier worked as Associate Fellow at Centre for Air Power Studies (CAPS), New Delhi. Her area of interests include Russia’s foreign policy, Russia’s defence industrial complex, India-Russia bilateral relations, Russia-China bilateral relations, Russia-US relations, Saudi Arabia’s foreign policy, Turkey’s foreign policy and global security. She has published extensively in peer reviewed journals and has presented papers in National and International conferences both in India and abroad.
