Huma Rehman

Ms. Huma Rehman works as a senior researcher, consultant, and defense and foreign affairs analyst. She has served as an Associate Research Director at the Center for International Strategic Studies (CISS) in Islamabad, Pakistan, where she worked on various aspects of strategic security areas: international security, regional issues, nuclear and missile proliferation, conflict management, nuclear export controls/WMD terrorism, and arms control and disarmament affairs. She has research experience from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies (MIIS), Monterey, California, and Sandia National Laboratories, Albuquerque, New Mexico, U.S.A., and received an IAEA certificate on nuclear safeguards.She has completed training modules from King’s College (London) and the Asser Institute (Netherlands) and has presented papers at international forums, including the IAEA and INMM. She also teaches strategic studies courses as a visiting lecturer. Ms. Rehman has been part of internationally arranged track-two programs between Pakistan and India.
