Mohd Tahir

Mohd Tahir Ganie currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Symbiosis School of International Studies (SSIS), Pune. His research area is South Asian geopolitics, peace and conflict studies, social movements, and youth studies. He obtained his PhD in Politics and International Relations from Dublin City University, Ireland, where he also worked as Assistant Professor in Politics during the academic year 2019-20. He is a recipient of the 2022 Irish Research Council Postdoctoral Fellowship. His scholarly contributions have appeared in prestigious publications such as Social Movement Studies, South Asia: Journal of South Asian Studies, Palgrave Encyclopedia of Peace and Conflict Studies, The Palgrave Handbook of New Directions in Kashmir Studies, Irish Studies in International Affairs, among others. He has also contributed to the Armed Conflict Survey, a flagship publication of International Institute for Strategic Studies.
