Mrittika Guha Sarkar

Mrittika Guha Sarkar is a Policy Analyst at Horizon Engage and an Associated Research Fellow at the Institute for Security & Development Policy. She graduated from the School of International Studies, American University, where she was the SIS Dean’s Awardee and served as a Graduate Assistant at the School of International Studies, American University. She has held research and policy roles at the Wilson Center and the East-West Center in Washington, D.C., as well as at the Chinese Language Center at National Chengchi University (NCCU), Taipei, and the Centre for East Asian Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. She has had professional experience at the United Service Institution of India, and the East Asia Centre at the Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (MP-IDSA). With extensive expertise in policy research, economic analysis, and strategic affairs, her work examines the evolving global energy landscape, the Indo-Pacific’s economic architecture, and geopolitical competition in South Asia.
