Pranay Kotasthane

Pranay Kotasthane currently heads the geostrategy program at the Bengaluru-based think tank Takshashila Institution. Pranay started his career as a policy analyst focusing on geopolitics at Takshashila in March 2014. His research interests are geostrategy, India’s foreign policy, and public economics. He is also an alumnus of the US Department of State’s Legislative Fellows Program. His recent published works include a Takshashila Discussion Documents on “An India—Pakistan Conflict Escalation Framework” and "Sustained Dialogue Process as India’s Pakistan Policy: An assessment”. Pranay has contributed opinion pieces to The Hindu, The Wire, Mint, Business Standard, Economic and Political Weekly, and other platforms in India.
