Javaid Iqbal

Rear Admiral Javaid Iqbal, HI (M) joined Pakistan Navy in 1988. He held various command and staff appointments which mainly include Deputy Chief of the Naval Staff Operations, Commander COAST, Commandant PN War College, Naval Secretary, Director General Defence Purchase, Principal Secretary to Chief of Naval Staff and Naval Adviser Pakistan High Commission New Delhi. He is a graduate of PN War College, US Naval War College and National Defence University Islamabad. He has represented PN at various international fora such as Indian Ocean Naval Symposium, Western Pacific Naval Symposium and read conference papers in Beijing-Xiangshan Forum, CPEC-BRI Cairo Dialogue and Trade Summit, Pakistan International Maritime Exhibition & Conference and Aman Dialogue.
