Saimum Parvez

Saimum Parvez is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Political Science and Sociology at the North South University (NSU), Bangladesh. Currently, he is on leave from his department to pursue a Ph.D. degree in the Department of International Security Studies, University of Sydney. He has a Master of Arts in Global Communication from the Elliott School of International Affairs, George Washington University, USA under the Fulbright scholarship program. Before joining NSU, he taught International Relations at the University of Chittagong for six years. His most recent publication includes “Terrorism and Counterterrorism in Bangladesh”, a book chapter published in the Routledge Handbook of Contemporary Bangladesh, Routledge, London.
