Sayanangshu Modak

Sayanangshu Modak is currently a Junior Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) in Kolkata. He works on the broad themes of transboundary water governance, hydro-diplomacy and flood-risk management. His current research focus is at the interface of science and policy for the effective governance of river basins in the Hindu Kush Himalaya region. He also tracks issues related to natural resource management and environmental sustainability. His past experience includes a stint with Foundation for Ecological Security (FES) where he researched on Water Commons in the semi-arid landscape of India.
