Shubha Kamala Prasad

Shubha Kamala Prasad is a PhD candidate in Political Science at the Department of Government, Georgetown University. Her research examines domestic sources of foreign policy, spanning substate conflict to diaspora mobilization. Shubha’s dissertation analyzes the impact of insurgencies on economic integration, particularly in South Asia. Her dissertation is based on both cross-national quantitative data as well as archival and interview-based fieldwork in India. Additionally, she uses elite survey instruments in her research. She holds an MPhil and an MA in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. She also received a BA (Honors) in English from Lady Shri Ram College (LSR), University of Delhi.
