Ume Farwa

Ume Farwa is a Research Fellow and Sub-editor at the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI), Pakistan. She completed her master's degree in International Relations from the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad. Her research interests include Pakistan's relations with major powers, especially China and Russia. She has co-edited a book titled CPEC: A Game Changer, which was a joint venture between Pakistani and Chinese scholars, and has authored a chapter, "CPEC: Converging China Dream and Asia Dream," in a book titled CPEC: The New Silk Road to Development. She frequently contributes analysis to national and international newspapers including The Nation, Pakobserver, The Global Times, Shanghai Daily, and Asia Times.
