Muhammad Waqar Anwar

Muhammad Waqar Anwar is a doctoral candidate in Security Studies at the Centre for Defence and Security Studies (CDSS), Massey University, Palmerston North, New Zealand. He has done his M. Phil in International Relations from National Defence University Islamabad and Masters in International Relations from the National University of Modern Languages Islamabad. His research interests include climate change politics and environmental justice, terrorism and non-traditional security challenges vis-à-vis the Belt and Road Initiative. He has also worked at various think tanks in Islamabad. He has published opinion pieces in local dailies. He can be reached at [email protected]
