Abhishek Mishra

Abhishek Mishra is a Junior Fellow in the Strategic Studies Program at the Observer Research Foundation and a Doctoral candidate at the Department of African Studies at the University of Delhi, both in New Delhi, India. His primary research interest is India’s relations with the African continent, with a specific focus on maritime security and cooperation in the Indian Ocean. His MPhil dissertation was on “India’s Summit Diplomacy with Africa: Implications and Challenges” and his PhD thesis is on “India’s Maritime Cooperation with African Countries in the Western Indian Ocean.”
