Chithra Purushothaman

Chithra Purushothaman is a researcher in the Non-Traditional Security Centre at Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA), New Delhi. She recently received her PhD from the Centre for International Politics, Organization and Disarmament (CIPOD), Jawaharlal Nehru University, specializing in emerging powers and their development assistance. At IDSA, her work is focussed on India's foreign policy and energy security. She has previously worked as a guest faculty in Jawaharlal Nehru University and has held research positions in Centre for Policy Research and MyGov India.
