Hari Prasad is an independent researcher of Middle East/South Asian Politics and Security. He previously worked as a researcher for the Hudson Institute and the United States Institute of Peace. He obtained his MA from George Washington University where he wrote his thesis on India's use of pro-government militias in Indian counterinsurgency campaigns.
