Hely Desai did her MPhil in Modern South Asian Studies from the University of Cambridge. She works on South Asian nuclear policy, deterrence and security issues. Currently, she is a member of the Emerging Voices Network with BASIC.Int. She was an Associate Editor for the Cambridge Review of International Affairs and has formerly been affiliated with the Centre for Air Power Studies, Indian Institute of Advanced Studies and the Ministry of External Affairs, India.
