Jumaina Siddiqui

Jumaina Siddiqui is the Senior Program Officer for South Asia at the U.S. Institute of Peace where she provides technical guidance to USIP’s work in Pakistan and South Asia. She is an international development practitioner with over 15 years of experience working on and in Pakistan across a variety of sectors and themes including democracy, governance, elections, conflict, environment, and rule of law. She joined USIP in 2014 after working with the National Democratic Institute as the Program Manager for Pakistan, focusing on political party development, elections, and political participation of women and youth. Prior to joining NDI, she worked at Global Communities overseeing a project to increase stability in the now former Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan. Jumaina has also held positions at the American Bar Association’s Rule of Law Initiative and at the Stimson Center. She received her MA from New York University and BA from American University.
