Kameesh Karim

Kameesh Karim is a Research and Programs Intern at the Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies at the Department of Defense. He is currently a senior at the University of Texas at Austin majoring in International Relations and Global Studies with a certificate in Security Studies. Previously, he was an undergraduate fellow for the Clements Center for National Security at UT Austin. He has also served as a Student Researcher at the Global Disinformation Lab where he analyzed ongoing conflicts in NKR and Ukraine through opensource intelligence. Kameesh has a special interest in the politics and security of South Asia and the Middle East and its relations with the United States. Currently, he is aspiring to build a career as an analyst for political developments in the Middle East and South Asia.
