Kazi Fahim Ahmed

Kazi Fahim Ahmed is the recipient of the EoT fellowship at the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, Bangladesh. Currently, he is working as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Alternatives. Previously, he was a Research Intern at the East Asia Study Center, University of Dhaka, specializing in contemporary East Asian and ASEAN affairs. As the Young Delegate of Bangladesh, Kazi participated in the UN Conference on the LDCs (2023) in Doha, Qatar engaging with decision-makers on challenges faced by youths in LDCs. Kazi holds a Master’s in Security Studies and a Bachelor’s in International Relations from the University of Dhaka. His research interests include South and East Asian affairs, nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament, refugee and migration studies, and human security. Some of his recent articles have been published in Australian Outlook, The Daily Star, The London Globalist, Modern Diplomacy, and The Daily Observer.
