Maheen Khan

Maheen Khan holds a Bachelor of Science in International Relations from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. She has previously researched with the Hanns Seidel Foundation on ‘Natural Disaster and Gender: A Case Study of Women’s Struggles in Post-Flash Flood Life in Tank,’ which led her to explore gender epistemes in environmental thought, particularly in the Global South. Her bachelor’s dissertation, ‘The Nexus of Capitalism and Environmental Crisis: A Case Study of Oil Commodification in Nigeria’s Niger Delta,’ examined the intersection of resource commodification and environmental degradation. Maheen also served as Team Lead for Pakistan Youth Connect under Climate Forward Pakistan.
