Nazmus Sakib is a Lewis Lecturer of Political Science at the University of Kentucky. His research focuses on international security, South Asia, and civil–military relations. His work has been published in Foreign Policy Analysis, International Interactions, Journal of Indo-Pacific Affairs, Politics and Policy, Research in Economics, and Journal of Conflict Resolution (forthcoming). He is also the co-editor of a forthcoming book on the geopolitics of the Nuclear-Free Five smaller states in South Asia. He earned his M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from Texas Tech University and his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Economics from the University of Dhaka.
