Rohan Venkat writes India Inside Out, a newsletter on Indian politics and foreign policy, and co-hosts The Election Tricycle, a podcast tracking political developments in India, the UK and the US. He is a Non-Resident Scholar and Consulting Editor at the Center for the Advanced Study of India, University of Pennsylvania, where he edits India in Transition.
Previously, Rohan spent 8 years at Scroll.in, an award-winning independent Indian digital news organization, where he ran news operations, helped build the audience engagement and video teams, and authored a twice-weekly newsletter called the Political Fix.
