Shalini Chawla

Dr. Shalini Chawla is a Distinguished Fellow at the Centre for Air Power Studies (CAPS), New Delhi. She was a research scholar at IDSA from 1999-2002. She worked as a freelance defense analyst from 2003-2005 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. She joined CAPS in 2006 and focuses on Pakistan and Afghanistan. Currently, she is the Project Director for the CAPS project – “Pakistan and Afghanistan: Present and Future”.
