Udayan Das

Udayan Das

Udayan Das is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Science, St. Xavier's College, Kolkata, India, and a doctoral candidate at the Department of International Relations, Jadavpur University. He is also an Associate Fellow (Honorary) at the Kalinga Institute of Indo-Pacific Studies. He was awarded the James Roach Fellowship In International Relations by Osmania University, Hyderabad in October 2019. Previously, he was Visiting Faculty at Amity University, Kolkata, and Scottish Church College (University of Calcutta). He has also been a Research Assistant at the Netaji Institute for Asian Studies and an Oral History Apprentice at The 1947 Partition Archive. His research interests include maritime affairs, India's foreign policy, and strategic and political issues pertaining to the subcontinent.
