Amal Chandra

Amal Chandra is an Indian author, public policy analyst, and political commentator. His debut book, The Essential (2023), launched by Dr Shashi Tharoor—with whom he collaborates on research and public affairs—features a foreword by former External Affairs Minister Adv. Salman Khurshid. His commentary and research have appeared in the IJPA, Global Policy Journal, Modern Diplomacy, The Unpopulist, SAGE, ORF, among others, as well as leading national dailies.
