Dr. Anum A. Khan is a scholar of Defence and Strategic Studies with over a decade of experience, with prior affiliations including Pakistan’s Strategic Plans Division (Arms Control and Disarmament Affairs Branch), the Centre for International Strategic Studies (CISS) Islamabad, and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO), and is currently the Founder and Executive Director of the Network for Security, Strategy and Technology (NESST), a RAISE Fellow at the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR) and a former Mentor with the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA) Youth Leaders Fund. Her areas of interest include nuclear deterrence, strategic stability, emerging technologies, AI in the military domain, and South Asian security.
