Joshy M. Paul
Dr. Joshy M. Paul is an Assistant Professor in the Department of International Studies, School of Law, at Christ University, Bangalore, India. With an interdisciplinary research-cum-academic background on Asian Security, East Asian Affairs, India-Japan relations and Maritime Security of the Indo-Pacific, he has eight years of research experience with a premier naval think tank, National Maritime Foundation, New Delhi. He has been NIDS Visiting Research Fellow (Japan), RSIS-MacArthur Associate Visiting Fellow (Singapore) and a Salzburg Global Seminar Fellow 2009 and 2015 . He has written a number of articles on Asian security matters in various journals such as South Asian Survey, International Studies, and Maritime Affairs. He earned an M Phil and Ph.D. in International Politics from CIPOD, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. At the Christ University, he teaches the foreign policy of major powers, international relations theory and problems of international relations.
